feeling.
my senior at office was asking me how to interprete a graph with many funny symbols..
she continued asking.. what is this . what is that?
without any thinking
i blurted out..
'isnt this idiot proof?'
....

..
am feeling terrible about it now.
ALso,
ytd i was happily wearing my new shoes. Mum bought it for me from M*ndo.
and during lunch time, i noticed that one heel broke!!!
I wore it for not even a day! i was very sian.. the shoes isnt cheap at all! moreover, it's from my mum.
sent it back, and ask the salesgirl for an exchange.
she told me
' you have worn this before, and we cnanot do anything.
send it outside for repair yourself'
I was furious.
so i replied.
Hey this is ridiculous, I paid for this ytd, it spoiled on me and you're asking me to pay for my own repair now!?'
the girl had nothing to say.. she went back to her manager, mumbled to her, and came back to me.
'ok, you can send it in tmr, we repair to you'.
ok so i didnt wait anymore.
i got back home, had dinner and stomped down to AMk hub M*ndo.
Obviously the salesgirls have marked my face down
they tried to siam me when i entered. and the girl i 'demended my rights from' looked v scared.
so i sent it in, it will take a week.
ok shall see how they get it Repaired for me.
told myslf , i will not get shoes fro mthem again. lousy service. lousy shoes.
relaly didnt wanna be that-nasty-customer.

I;m sorry We didnt get a chance to bid you farewell.
tho I was never close to you, I vaguely remember you to be my jovial, generous, rich uncle.
thanks for stuffing $200 into my pocket last yr when i was back in HK

i call it an adventurous day.
my first eyebrow threading. was.ouch.
been wanting to try this for some time. i think the shape is nice and it's less painful than plucking, moreover, it's Cheap. hah
it's a lazy n hot day but we walked prettty much under the sun. fr lil india to cityhall. tried nice rochor rd tau huay too! i always love tau huay. =)
went to take a peep at O sch, and met eugene Lim. haa i guess i'll see him more if i take jazz classes there.

KL!
just 2 days but it felt longer cos we tried to maximise our time at the expense of sleeping time. bahh
Wen n Derek didnt travel much w us ,sadly, since they aimed for different places from us.
Petaling market. Went there with my 'bodyguard'. I fell in love with the place. it is almost like HK ladies street. With bargain-able fake branded goods. and lotsa good local food!
Didnt know it is famous for the high crime rate here. Ignorance is blis huh. i wouldnt have enjoyed it as much if i knew this place was scary.. me being a scardy cat. bleah
This the backlane sambal stingray we tried. it's 10RM for 2.. pretty reasonable. Smells good but mind you, it's RELALY SPICY!!!

work
work has been great. I love the freedom, no difficult ppl so far, my superior is a nice uncle, christian, willing to teach me, colleagues nice to bring us to lunch n stuff and wats more, almost everyone uses msn in Office! haa.
i'm already given stacks of Textbooks/ notes and codes to read up. Huge pile!~ Feels like back to school. BUT work is diff, at least for this company or is it a Jap working culture, I was told by my superior that he DOES NOT WANT ME to work when i'm off working hours, when i mentioned that i wnana bring the readings back home to read.
ppl have been asking me wat i do exactly. i'm in k*so J*ban consultants...this is a pure Geotechnical Consultancy firm. dealing with monitoring and instrumentation works for on-going construction projs e.g. mar*na waterfront bridges, n*coll highway etc. checking for the ground movements and effects on surroundings. will talk more details later on. anw i;m doing engineer-engineer work, no managing, coordinating or other saigang.haha. learning new things each day. so far so good.
going to KL with wen, derek and SE for an express trip this weekend =p

Had an interesting Friday
morning was interview with the bank of NY, went OK .
then, it was Little india for Thosai with Jus. It's my first try on the authentic thosai. the white n orangey coconut gravy didnt look appetizing. but the paper thosai was nice. crispy. do Try it out at Tekka market. i think the indian lady sitting opposite was amused by the way i struggled with the thosai :S had a good time of catching up with Jus.
At 3 pm, met cz, nzj, fen, xy for swimming/playing at e jurong swimming pool. the slides were very slow and boring , but the lazy pool was v v fun. we floated on our floats.haha. and at each part of the 'river' , there was water falling down. some soft srpinkles and some hard shooting of water. I swam for only 2 laps and my arms couldnt take it anymore. =p
During the evening, we travelled back for chinese dance. the first choreo for DR 2007. there'll be only 1 item this yr-15mins long by chinese dance and some KE wushu guys are asked to help out.good good.

I think i have a problem.
I am lack of self-confidence. this might not sound like me. but
I m scared to start work.
I seriously dont think i can take something serious enuff / serious for a period long enuff for someone to pay me a 2.5k per month. to do work. All the temp jobs i got in the past, wat i do is only 骗吃. means slack off and when it's about time they found out i'm a slacker, it's also time for me to go back to school. by then i'd hv earnt wat i need/want and i will never see them again, at least not in the office. haha. oh no i sound like a cheat.
Help!! am i the only one facing such a prob??

I;m most likely taking up the position of Project Engineer!!!
I;m actually q excited cos the job scope is what i would wanna do and less technical.
I will hav early nights sooon, very soon.
will b working in clementi. Back to clementi, i shall say. bweah.

my Brother, is going to propose soon!!!
With his 0.Xcarats T*ffany&Co. Proposal Ring, which Costs >>>>3.5K!!!!???!!
It is so dazzling and the design makes the size deceiving cos it's ultra Shiny!!!! I told him to hide it or it will be gone tmr. haha. *grinz*
I wonder if my brother is so lack of confidence that he has to make up for it with such an extravagant method. haha.=p kidding
But like what he said, it's a once-in-a-life-time-thing, she should have the best for it. When i saw that glow in his eyes while he proudly shows off that ring, I know he wouldnt have any regrets in his actions.
That;s one of the v few things I admire him for, his courage and that want-to-do-then-just-do-it mentality. I wish i have some of that too.
