busy week

Too many events and i rather catch up on my sleep esp with the weather

on Christmas Eve, gathered with his extended family for dinner, went for my church's Christmas play 'Dress rehearsal' which was quite impressive and reminded me that there is no much time left to develop the personal relationship with God.

Christmas day.. lunch with my family and watch Dvds, during the evening, Sec sch frens' gathering at Wen's place. she has an alfresco-balcony on the 24th floor.. where we can do bbq under the starss.. hee..didnt eat much.. nice to meet some, especially 'long lost' Sis Wendy who's becoming hotter by the day... and Dexter, the fren whom i enjoy conversing with.

Eve of Christmas Eve.. potluck at Fen's place!

After shopping at J8 NTUC, we headed off to the place to prepare the spaghetti's, Crepes, Choc Fondue... thank goodness the kitchen was clean and well-equipped.

After all the eating, we played Games .. heart attack, Asshole Daidee, Charriots!!!

was intending to play Musical chair but we were all too full to move around. boooooo...

We set the theme of red and green, that is everyone had to dress in Red AND Green for the party, but sadly not everyone managed to find green clothing, even myself didnt put on any green and as expected, got scolded badly... :P

What a fun and light-hearted get-together.

finally got back to clear my room and to move out... probably the last time i've to do this :P with mum n dad's help, managed to clear everything in 30mins.

goodbye to my big big room and big bed. btw my ex-roomie moved out a bit b4 the mid-sem break which left the whole double room to meself! hwahhaah!

a day in JB !!!

with great company, SumLum (=forest in contonese? ya,cheeZy name haha), i enjoyed an adventurous, efficient and good-food-filled good trip.. u get e idea!



first stop was City square.. which we decided not to waste time there since things were close to sg prices and was generally crowded.. thank God for the kind souls and helpful locals who provided useful tips and good advices to help us not get 'kar' by the taxi drivers..


went to Holiday Plaza, known for their pirated dvds and it looks like a bigger version of lucky plaza. didnt buy anything and didnt see anything ahemmm 'unpleasant' thankfully. sum got her corouful undies sets... really cheap n good! and we managed to go trim our eyebrows there! RM10 only.. and it turned out quite nice, i like it... =) nearly went to do manicure, but didnt want to bore the boy.





















next, we decided to try out Taman Sri tebrau (local hawker centre)- recommended by Ewen. took a cab there n realised it's actually in walking distance. haha. anw it was kinda disapponting cos only a few stalls were open in e afternn. had tze char.. sambal kangkong was nice. then, we decided to walk around that area... we aimed for tall buildings and after a long walk, we noticed that msia doesnt have good landuse planning. car workshops can co-existed alongside with food outlets and bridal shops!

found a pretty decent looking shopping mall called 'Metrojaya'. At that point of time, we already didnt know exactly where we were and how far we are from the customs. oops.

found a boutique selling nice tops! if only the prices were a little lower...





















so after spending some time at metrojaya playing archade games, window shopping n comtemplating whether to dye hair, it was already 5pm. we had to settle for a good spot for dinner! so...how about trying 'orang asli'?

went to the cab stand.. tried asking the drivers and negotioting prices.. we got RM35, RM25.. and some didn even know where the place was. all the malay drivers spoke to us in malayu..totally blur.. so we got s.o.s from sum's fren who recommended Eden garden.. but just as we tried to ask for orang asli for one last time, the indian driver offered RM20 which is within our budget.. so we hopped on. (we had good experiences with indian drivers.)

the ride was long and we got further n further from town. but we found our lil paradise.. for me at least, an eye opener...

chilli crab with mantou buns and cereal prawn. slurrpp!!! freshness..
i'm sure e meal would cost more than double in sg.



















after we got out of the ulu place which we found ourt was called Kampong Senibong, we saw JUSCO. didnt find the dunkin' donuts.. had Baskin' Robbin's Ice Cream instead... for our last stop of the day.


















pointers to take note of when u're visting for msia :-
1. indian taxi drivers are friendly.
2. go to msia with someone who can speak malayu.. and not those who think they can speak! LOL!
3. camera whores bring along ur fellow camera whores along.
4. go with frens who crap a lot and poke fun at you all the time cos taxi rides can get long and boring and the sceneries are.. wat sceneries?

it's been the same cycle every week for the past 4 months.
weekdays looking forward to interesting activities during weekends.
meeting up and communication only 1-2 days weekly. some good weekends leave me sad to start the new week, some not so good ones which leaves me disappointed and wonder why things work the way it does.
at times it involves his whole family. leaving us with no communication time. nehz.unhealthy!

i need planning, i can't just remain passive
have to speak up.. too much accomodating will make me into sthg else.



i picture myself by the sea.. on wooden planks of a kelong.
the person beside guides me as we hold on to a fishing rod each, and just 2 km away where the mini bbq stand is, live prawns sizzle.
the sky's so clear and blue.
i can smell the sea.
there's so much waiting to be done..
hiking, rafting, canoeing...

i want to be there..

seriously was quite surprised when he agreed to drive me back, at this hour.
but papa would have done so if he doesnt agree to. but knowing that pa hasnt stop working since morning, i wouldnt ren xin to trouble him. so thanks again gor!
had a good chat with him in the car (tho mom told me not to talk to him while he's driving:P) we usually talk about serious stuff like future plans which usually happens only when he fetches me.. or we don't even talk at all at home, cos he's so in love with his little self-sufficient cozy room.
and so we did talked about my FYP, his GF, my BF, and studies..
do most guys face problem expressing their love for their siblings?
but i'm sure i do it quite well. hee

been spending a lot of time w my family members.
a lot more communication and casual jokes now.
and i really enjoy my lil brother's magic tricks. ;)

exam day2 - tunnels

have you ever felt too lazy to do your exam? i have.

yesterday.. after attempting 2/5 questions, i stopped writing and thinking altogether. stared into empty space for 10mins. and then force myself again to read the next question and churn up thoughts for the answer. later after each question, i gave myself time in between. just couldnt wait for time to pass. well maybe it's a result of the long exam hours(2.5hrs) or bcos i have too little to write.

i think that is laziness to the max. lazy even to write my answers for exam.

i have good reasons to hate myself :{
oh great! another 2.5hrs paper later.. and wat am i doing? videos and blog...
then again... it's my LAST PAPER. WHO studies for their last paper?!
though it's only my 2nd paper but a last paper is a last paper.

ok i'm giving myself all the reasons to slack again.

but i'm not hopeless i guess, since i have self-awareness. hahaa.. ok crappy. ah well...

amazingly.... while i tried to create a new blog AGAIN, i managed to come into this page where i can create an entry. hahhaha :S i didnt get my blogger user name wrong ok, its just that blogger sux. they linked me to google while i signed-up with them. why can't they make things simpler for busy(or maybe not-so-computer-literate users) like me.

ah well....many things had happened ever since.. mostly unpleasant ones unfortunately. firstly.. the place where i enjoyed for 2.5hours of take take take, EAtEATEAT and 24 hours of HELL. --SAKUKA--

given a choice, i'll not go back to that place again. but who knows after a mth, i may be silly enuuf to let myself fall into the temptation again and repeat the whole cycle of falling sick and getting all depressed, dehydration from crying and lao-sai-ing, waking up with a plastic bag just in case of any puke.sigh.
thank God and my lovely parents for the TLC. i'm much better now.

i've figured many shortcomings of blogdrive AfTeR starting a blog with them. so i've moved to the widely used blogspot.. for the following reasons...

Blogdrive
1)not supported by youtube videos. no videos?! boring leh...
2)problematic tagboard. if u've been visiting you would'v noticed.
3) they dont play mp3 files...only MIDI, wav and some weird files... :S wot?!
4)server always down leh.

anws i chose them because the template first caught my attention.
